my best friend moved to new york, we had known eachother for... about 3 years, i met him in 6th grade, we were the BEST OF FRIENDS EVER EVER EVER, and we still are,, we talk all the time on aim and myspace, he said he was going to visit his father, (his father lives where i live) and asked me to hang out with him... (oh yea before that he told me he loved me, we both love eachother... we completely trust eachother and i know he would never hurt me, i know all about him and same with him.) we know it is true love. well anyways, he was supposed to visit his dad but today he told me that he cant bc the weekend he was gonna visit, his dad had to work. earlier about a week ago he asked me what my reaction would be when i see him. i said i will probably be soooo happy and hug him, he said i cant wait for that hug. now that he cant come this morning he was like OH NO I DONT GET YOUR HUG NOW :( we both cried bc we have not seen eachother in 3 years, i truely love him.. and now we are both..

it might not be love, but maybe it is...13 is pretty young to know, but hey, in 5 years from now, you could still be together...so there's no harm in loving each other or even just thinking you love each other....but there's really not much you can do to see him...talk with your parents and his parents and yada yada...otherwise, just keep in touch with him until you two can eventually meet up...don't cry too much though...yes, it is sad, but there are much worse things...just keep in touch with him...good luck

Aww that is going to be difficult, sorry he couldn't make it to see you. It will take time to get over something like that. I would still keep in touch with him and communicate but just make sure you stay active and have a life to kind of get it off your mind. Try not to dwell on it too much. It will get easier with time but it will be tough for awhile. Meet new people and make friends or try to hang with other friends that you have. Good Luck!

It does seem like you two are a little young but when love hits you, you just know it. Keep talking to each other. He will be able to come and visit eventually, he cant just ignore his dad forever. And if he truly loves you, he will come to see you. Until you guys are older though, there isnt really much you can do to see each other without going against your parents rules. I know this isnt what you want to hear but maybe if you two are both heart broken, maybe a long distance relationship is not the best idea. Who knows. Just go with your heart and good luck.

Long distance relationships are really hard to keep. Mostly because you don't get the togetherness and never see eachother. It is one thing to talk to someone on aim and myspace and talking to them in person. And since you are both 13 it is really unpredictible at that age. Best thing I think you can do at this point is to try to see eachother in person as much as you can. The more you 2 can see eachother the better your chances of it working out will be.
